VersionTracker vs. MacUpdate
So I’ve had a VersionTracker Plus account for 2 years now. Plus, not Pro? Nope. Plus gives me watchlists (never use them), email notifications, or so I think (never use them), no ads (very convenient) and direct download links. Which is nice. But why do I have to pay for many of these things in the first place?
Today VersionTracker sent me a mail stating I need to renew - my current subscription runs out in 3 weeks. If anything like last year, I should wait another couple weeks, and they’ll offer me the renewal at a discounted price (from $24.95 to $19.95). But is this really something I want?
I’m fond of updates, and I need, or want, an update listing without ads. So the dilemma is: should I ditch VT in favor of MacUpdate, which is also only $20? I much prefer MacUpdates philosophy and staff over VTs. Views?

I’d say yes, go for MU. If you don’t like it, you can always go back to VT next year, hehe..
As you like MU’s staff/philosophy, I don’t see the dilemma, except if you like VT’s design/functionality a lot..
